RUN is the technology that powers logistics. RUN Technologies is an e-marketplace that aggregates dispatchers and connects them to customers.

RUN Technologies operates two mobile application to deliver its services.

RUN Dispatch Hailing App: This is a mobile application that allows customers (businesses and individuals) request for instant delivery services. This innovative application enables customers to easily request for dispatch services, track their delivery, enjoy quality customer support and make payment easily.

RUN Champion: T his mobile application enables logistic providers (businesses and individuals) deliver quality dispatch services. They are able to identify customers, leverage the pricing model, promptly pick-up and accept payments.

Why Run?

RUN is positioned to innovatively capture the logistic market which is growing exponentially. Here is why

Increasing demand for delivery services: Nigeria has a population of over 200 million people, 50% of which are urbanized, 2 3% of which are middle-income earners, and about 10% of which live in Lagos State. This presents an attractive retail market for the logistic industry.

Growth of e-commerce market in Nigeria: This is the major growth driver for the logistics sector. In 2020, e-commerce initiated online transaction in Nigeria was worth 56 trillion naira ($ 136 bn). With the ease of payments through mobile money and debit cards, and increasing internet penetration, e-commerce is expected to grow annually at 20.5% (Mordor Intelligence).

Investment in motorcycles: A lthough the ban of motorcycles for commercial purpose in Nigeria’s largest city - Lagos State - has not been lifted, Nigeria Bureau of Statistics reported motor cycles as one of Nigeria’s top 10 imports in Q1 2021 - N118.5 bn ($287 mn). M ost of these motor cycles are investments made by logistic companies and individuals who have recognized the logistics & delivery market as a very profitable and attractive sector with low barrier to entry. As more riders enter the lucrative business, RUN platform will have increasing number of riders. The stiff competition for customers will drive riders to use our product.

Technology advancement: Advancement in the use of technology creates opportunities for q uality delivery services to be provided for riders and their customers. Currently, mobile penetration stands at 90% of population, internet users are 50% of population and social media users are 16% of population ( According Data Reportal 2021). As we continue to enhance the capabilities of our product, leveraging advanced technology, new opportunities will be created for the industry.

PROBLEMS

Accessibility

Many customers are unable to access domestic logistic services especially for same day delivery. Logistic companies also have limited access to customer since orders are based on referrals

Transparency

Less than 3% of domestic logistics companies have features that allow customers track the movement of their goods. This negatively affects trust

Affordability

The price of trusted logistic services are some times considered unaffordable

Quality Service

Another major challenge is customer service as there is little or no feedback system, follow-up or other forms of customer support

E-marketplace

RUN provides an e-platform that aggregates dispatchers (logistic businesses and individual motor bike riders) on a single platform. The platform will aggregate other delivery modes such as foot soldiers, bicycle delivery, van & truck delivery, etc.

Tracking System

Our advanced tracking feature gives customers a live map tracking of dispatchers in transit in real-time. It eliminates the stress of worrying about the security of dispatched items in transit.

Pricing & Payment

Pricing is determined by an algorithm which measures distance and time, depending on the delivery mode. We provide options to pay via cash or linked card for hassle-free payments upon completed dispatch trips.

Other Benefits

Our multi-delivery location feature enables customers add up to five (5) delivery locations in a single dispatch trip. Also, we provide quality customer support services.
